ONE WAY under the roof of FISCHER

Fischer Sports GmbH, Ried (AUT) is growing and will also manage the ONE WAY brand in the future.

Both brands are known as suppliers for many international athletes and teams and from now on the synergies in racing and product development will be used.

The brand ONE WAY was founded in Finland in 2004 and has developed into a world-famous brand with a special focus on cross-country skiing.

The product portfolio includes poles, goggles, textiles and accessories. Cross-country skis and shoes were also on offer from time to time.

At the beginning of the year, the company went bankrupt. FISCHER has acquired the trademark and patent rights from this process.

The acquisition includes the unrestricted use of trademarks, patents, patent applications and domain names of ONE WAY and OW from the insolvency estate of One Way Sports Oy.

The brand is now being reorganized and integrated into the FISCHER Group.

"Our goal is to develop ONE WAY into the world's leading supplier of cross-country and alpine poles. The brand also has great potential in accessories and textiles, especially in Scandinavia," says Franz Föttinger, CEO FISCHER.

Similar to FISCHER, international racing is also the essential tool for brand awareness and image for ONE WAY.

Among other things, many Olympic and world champions successfully rely on the brand's products. This racing commitment will continue without interruption in order to exploit synergies between the two major Nordic brands in the future.
