Ski Classics and Visma continue together

Visma has been the title partner of Ski Classics- the long distance skiing championship, since season VI (2015/2016), acquiring naming rights to the tour hence; Visma Ski Classics.

The parties have now agreed on a three year agreement, lasting until may 2020 (season X).

- We are excited to continue building our tour together with Visma as a title partner.

- They have had a strong engagement in Ski Classics from the very start of the Visma Ski Classics era.

- With their Nordic identity, being active in many Ski Classics markets, their impressive continuous growth and not the least their commitment into the partnership make Ski Classics very proud having Visma as partner, says David Nilsson, CEO of Ski Classics.

- The interest in long-distance skiing is growing continuously.

- Last season, the audience watching the televised events almost doubled from the previous season, giving our brand a broad reach that extends beyond our core markets.

- We believe the continued partnership contributes to creating positive connotations between our brand, the skiers, the teams and the audience, said Øysten Moan, CEO of Visma.

Season VIII starts november 26th with the Prologue in Pontresina. Download the Visma Ski Classics Play app to get the latest news!
